Probs with VPU software.

First of all let me say I have an ATI. Therefor, bad software. I just got my wireless network fixed and I reinstalled WoW but it says I have to turn on my hardware acceleration (which was on as far as I know). When I go into display settings, then advace and click on the SMARTGAR (tm) tab, I am able to change my AGP speed to Off, 4x and 8x. So I chose 8x, and restarted my comp. Then when I try to open WoW, I get the same error. I went back to the same menu, and it is back at the Off setting. It says that if the system will become unstable it will go back to the previous settings. Same thing happens for 4x. So I checked ati's site. They said make sure that the mobo has the proper settings and current software. So I downloaded the newest BIOS. But I'm not sure what to do with the ROM file to update it. If you know what i have to do to get it so I update the BIOS, and what to do so I can turn on hardware acceleration that would be great.

Thanks:

DH

Before you update the bios, update your motherboard chipset drivers. What brand and model is your motherboard?

I have an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe. I didn't see any drivers when i was on their site. Since the asus site was down again (like it is half the time). The box for my mobo says "Intel 865PE + ICH5R, but I'm not sure what driver to dl from intel's site.
