CD copying software
I wanna know whats the bestest way to make a CD copy of my XPHome cd , its seing a few signs of wear and id like to make a copy of it before its too late. I tried CD to CD copy with Nero 6.X but it wont boot.

Hi Propain,
There is or use to be a program called CloneCD. I don't know if it is available anymore, but it does "clone" your old cd. Carl |

Try Nero on a CD-RW instead of the DVD burner. For some reason copywrited software disks hang on my DVD burner too.

aye I have a copy of cdclone floating around (obviously
) I tried that PR and it still didnt boot . Ill try this link that Force2 shot me over in chat . http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=297 if no success prevails from that ill dust off CdClone.thanks guys |

I use Nero and have made copies of my 2 copies, also my sisters and daughters copies of XP using the "Copy entire disk" option in Nero Express and they all boot OK. I do use 5.5.9.2 though.

I always use Clone Cd from elaborate bytes, I bought Windows Xp Pro OEm for 200 bucks and I didn't want to damage the original CD, so I copied it and it works just as the original with boot and everything! Try it! It's call CLONE CD just for copy all CDS not DVDS
