Converting xvid divx to asf
Hi, I just bought a new personal media centre, it supprts asf mpeg4 but not xvid and divx. Most of my viseo files on my computer are these two formats and the converter that camne with my media centre does not supprt xvid or divx, does anyone know any good software to convert xvid or divx to asf because i cannot find any!!! Thanks very much, Tom

I may be wrong but ".asf" is a propriety format of Microsoft Corp. and MS
will sue anyone using it without paying loyalty, as a result, you can not found many converters from *.* format to ".asf" but there is alot of converters from "asf" to all other formats(AVI, WMV, MPEG....so on) |

That would make sense i suppose!! It also supports mpeg1 so i guess i'll have to convert it to that, thanks for your reply

If it supports .asf, then it should support .wmv
Load your stuff into Windows Movie Maker. Drag and drop the video to the timeline at the bottom. Select Save video to hard drive. |
