I'm having a huge problem with pc-cillin. I had Norton and I also added F-Prot and Zone Labs. Got rid of Norton and disabled the other 2 and downloaded the pc-cillin antivirus software that I purchased. Since then my javascript has been knocked out and nothing I tried seems to fix. The computer tells me that scripting etc. is all enabled but it isn't (i.e. I've gone into internet options and checked the security and advanced tabs and all the java stuff says it is enabled). TM's support was "lame" in my experience as well. They didn't respond to the e-mail messages, but I did get them on the phone after a couple tries. They suggested checking for spywear and turning off the pc-cillin fire wall, and when that didn't help they gave me Microsoft's number and said to call them. No success reaching anyone there. Does anyone have any suggestions for attending to the javascript problem. It stinks because so many sites require enabled javascript to be able to have full access, I can't seem to even attach pictures to my msn e-mail, or to use the background and font features. I'm at my wits end. Can anyone help?

Many anti-virus scanners think that Sun java is a virus.
Set your scanner to pass over the sun install folder, then download and reinstall java. |

Thanks so much for the suggestion. Can you tell me how I would set the scanner to pass over the sun install folder? I'm a bit clueless about this stuff

still on the java outs
so I figured out how to get pc-cillin to pass over the sun java, but the javascript still doesn't work. Does anyone have any thoughts on what rebooting windows xp might do to help? or any other suggestions - life without javascript really stinks.
