Nero crashing windows server 2003

I am using nero 6 with windows server 2003 standard. When I burn a cd it gets to about 20% complete and then it goes to a blue screen that says that windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. Then it dumps the memory. I know that nero is compatible with windows server because I have a friend that uses it. What could be causing this and how can I solve it?

Thanks

Why would you be burning CD's on a server?

Is this a licensed version of Windows 2003 server?

I back up about 10 folders that has all our accounting information on it. Yes it's licensed.
