Word 2003 Mail Merge - Some Zip Codes show "0"
I am trying to do a mail merge in Word 2003 linking to an Excel 2003 spreadsheet ( I am on a Windows XP Pro pc). My column with zip codes merges fine until it comes to a zip code + 4 digits. It merges this into my Word document as a zero "0" -- I have tried formatting the column in excel as text - but nothing seems to work. If I change the zip code to just five digits, it merges fine. Please advise how do I get the zip code + 4 digits to merge properly. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

zip code + 4 digits
Are these in one column in Excel? If so, have you tried putting them in the next column? Or the other way around..
