A+ software exam

I'll be taking my CompTIA A+ software exam shortly (within the next 2 - 3 months) and I was wondering if anyone has any advice such as revision tips. I'm nowhere near ready for it yet but I'm hoping to be by the time it comes aorund.

I took it just after a revision went into place and it worked out good for me cause they had just added a new exam called server+ and they moved a good chunk of what used to be on A+ software part to this new Server+ exam. It just so happened to be my real weak spots which are Raid, and backups that they moved. I experienced no questions on Raid, and the only backup question was where to store your backups, and the most correct answer was offsite.... We are talking 3 years ago though in my case, so I don't really know what other changes have taken place, but overall I found both parts quite easy and found that I was way overprepared for what I found to be 2 very easy tests....

i just took mine last month, i don't know if it was the revision or not but i did pretty good, out of the 9 who went to take it i was one of the 4 who passed. of the 5 who didn't pass only 1 failed both tests and the other of the other 4, 3 of them just didn't study much at all, they just took it to see what they would get i guess. they are all going to take it again this wednesday and i'm pretty sure they will all do fine!

the first test os always the worst, once u get that first certfication all the other tests are more stress free because with the first one you don't have any clue what your doing. just study and study! you'll do just fine! good luck.
