I've played around with 3D Architect by Broderbund. It's $70.

Broderbund also has Instant Architect for $30. I don't know anything about it other than what's on their website.

If you go digging around in the bargain software bins at the store, you may be able to find one of the Broderbund 3D suites, I've seen them in there. I have "Total 3D Home Suite Deluxe" here, haven't played with it, someone gave it to me - but it looks like it's very full featured, it's 8 CD's.

FWIW, my dad is a small building materials retailer and has used about 3 different programs in his business over the last 5-7 years. He likes the Broderbund software the best because it gave the best ratio of features with intuitive use. As usual, glc is right. The older versions can be had for huge discounts.
