I know how to export the address book from OE , but have not been able to save the messages . How do I save the messages, and where do I find OE to re install? Thanks

Thanks, I have not seen that Microsoft article. I did try another Mictosoft article but it did not work.
I will try that one.
I would still like to see how to save the messages in OE when I reformat and reload someone's computer.

Uh, excuse me, but they work in both applications- on my system.

Saving Outlook Express info...

Outlook Express information is saved in Microsoft Outlook, not OE. You have to go there and export the information to file in order to save it.

He wasn't saying that they don't work. That is the name of the help page he linked to right below it that shows how to fix it WHEN they don't work.
