Weather service software

Does any one now of a good reliable, pc based weather reporting software, that is not full of sypware.. I hat ones like weatherbug, acuweather. they all seem to be infested with spyware.. And everytime I run ad-aware, and spybot they show up as spyware.... I do notice lots of pop-ups when using these two.

You've already got one... but the one I like is called Wetsock... it's not free.. a whopping $12, but I really like it in comparison to a lot of others. It's easy to list other cities, convert back and forth between 'C and 'F, get long range forcasts, etc.

Like Hal said, you have one, but you could check out a site I like and use.
www.wunderground.com

It has ads, but tons of great features too. It is very accurate IME.

I have a the Core Weather widget for DesktopX. It works great and it's always within 1 or 2 degrees of my outdoor thermometer. You need DesktopX which you can get HERE.

I've always used www.intellicast.com

I haven't noticed any popups or ads with that site....dunno if it's because of Firefox blocking it though. Nothing fancy, I just like their radar screens. And its free.

Hi Ho,
Did you know that Maxthon has its own built-in weather search engine? it's on the sidebar, the last icon of the lot.

Yeah I knew about that but I like the thing on my desktop so I don't have to open anything else. If I want radar I just go to the KOMO TV website.

I have been using this one for a while now and as far as I can see there is no spyware attached to it at all, it is also major easy to use and very unobtrusive.
