Well, you'll need a DVD burner if you don't have one.

As for software...what do you use to burn mp3's to CD? Any decent CD burning software will have DVD burning capabilities as well.

And if you don't have a DVD burner, and you go buy one, it's likely to come with software (if you get it retail).

No matter what burning software you decide to use, all you have to do is tell it to make an audio disk, not a data disk. It will then automatically convert mp3 (or wav and probably any other standard audio file format) to the format required by standard DVD players.

Then all you need to remember is that audio disks compute space in minutes, not megs or gigs. A DVD that will hold 4.7 gigs of data, for example, will hold 120 minutes of audio.

i disagree, i think he is going to want to keep it in mp3 format. nero won't burn an "audio-dvd" its going to keep it in mp3 format, and dvd players today will read that. he wants to burn it as a data disc

I believe he mentioned in his first post that he did not want to burn files to DVD in MP3.

For the purpose mentioned (burning MP3 files to a disk in order to listen to them on a DVD player) you can use NERO to burn a CD using "audio disk" mode. This will work fine for standard-length audio disks.

Unless you have an extremely old DVD player, CD's will play on it.

If you are trying to load huge amounts of files on the disk, then you will want to use the previous suggestions for burning a DVD in MP3 format.
