defrag issues
Windows XP pro defrag thing runs says complete anyalyze and it says volume needs to be defraged?
Any idea what I am doing wrong or something else I should try? Thanks in advance.Ok any idea why everytime after I defrag click analyze again it says it needs to be defraged again? Last edited by borbos; 03-31-2005 at 10:08 PM. Reason: Clarification |

You arent doing anythign wrong. Just click the defragment button and let it run.

Update
Tried using the defrag in System Mechanic 4 it ran somewhere about 12 hours and crashed. Says drive is about 15% fragmented is there any way I can defragment this thing and any idea why it's being so difficult? I do turn off my virus software any othe suggestions appreciated.

You can schedule defrags with the built in defragmentation utility also. Is your entire hdd 1 partition?
