Driver Issue??
1st thing, I am a noob to this site, and it seems like a very informative one. Lately I Built my computer i bought off new egg
Amd Athlon 64 3200
GeForce6600
Gigabyte K8 Triton, nforce4 4x motherboard
1 gb Corsair Ram
Heres the problem, I downloaded the Doom 3 demo, along with wolfenstein enemy territory, and when I tried to boot them up after installation, they locked up my computer and made the screen come up in random colors, or just a gray screen. I have tried drivers from Nvidia, Aopen(they actually make the card that i bought), and some Omega Drivers. This also happens on HL2,HL1, but not Counter Strike Source. I can also play Battlefield vietnam fine. I have all the windows updates, chipsetis updated.I even reinstalled windows. I really dont know that much about PC's. So any input or suggestions would be helpful!
