Get mail from Hot Mail to Outlook

Hi,
I have a friend who wants to now use Outlook, he has a Hotmail account now which he is going to cancel. However he wants to get his emails now on hotmail and put them in Outlook, is there a way to do this?
TIA

babylon5guy,

You can use Outlook to set up a profile for the Hotmail account and get the email from the account. Then, those messages can be saved to a PST file in order to open them in another profile. Since he's no longer going to use Hotmail, I am assuming that he has another account he's going to use Outlook for and wants to be able to access the Hotmail messages.

HTH,

Thanks LiVeWiRe, I assumed it was Hotmail he had, actually it is a MSN account, but I think they are about the same thing, it has a msn.com extension. Yes he switched to RoadRunner and wants to use Outlook, he just wants to get all his mail that resides on the MSN server and close the account. He doesn't want to receive mail in Outlook from the MSN account.

No problem babylon5guy!
Getting the MSN mail will be a similar process, although setting up the Outlook profile to access it could be a little different.
