What are some must haves programs?
Yeah I'm going to reformatted my comp soon, and would like to know what software I should get to improve system performance and protection? All I have is Adware, spybot, and spy dr. Any help would be great. Thanks
FYI, I'll be finishing my computer today and I'll post the results wish me luck

The main things you should have are a firewall and antivirus programs which can be free take a look here

Must haves: anti-virus, firewall, anti-spyware.
Everything is personal preference. Check out this thread for a list of great freeware. Beaten to the draw: it's the same list that Dangermouse posted |
