Pissed Runtime Error 1004

I keep getting this error when using excel, vb spreadsheet

"general mail failure. Quit Microsoft excel, restart the mail system, and try again."

Outlook is set a default mail, have downloaded svcpk 3 for office 2002, and have archived what i can in outlook.

any advice?

What are you doing when you get the error message? Or does it appear as soon as one of the applications load? And if so, which one?

Have you scanned for spyware using adaware and spybot, or MS anti-spyware?

Boom

I use spybot, am running again as I post this.

This is a visual basic workbook that i have to input data and then submit. It should then take the data and email to a list of people. it was working fine until the writer had to make some format changes, then when i got it back it began giving me this error message.

Nothing found in spybot and all are up to date.
