Having a very strange problem.....

So my internet has been going crazy lately. First of all no internet application connects to the internet except for firefox. And when I open firefox only google pops up. I can not go to any other site, it just gives my the time out error. BUT if I do a search in google, such as PC mechanic it does a search and everything as nothing is wrong. Thats how I got here, I can browse through search google but thats it. Iv tried reseting my Netgear router and modem but nothing works. Any ideas?

it was, but now the problem seems to be fixed maybe the problem wasnt on my end, maybe comcast was the problem........wouldnt be the first time.

I was down for a couple hours with Comcast here in Michigan too tonite. I called and got a recording that they were working on the problems. Fixed now, eh?

Thats odd, my dsl modem hard booted itself three or four times around lunch time (never seen it do that before) and I have had a slow connection all day.
Pity I am with PRTC/Verizon or I would phone Comcast and complain.

Ya no its screwed up again, guess its comcast. I really wish they werent the only broadband provider in my area. I really dont like there service.
