I never registered myself as the admin on my computer Iv ben using it for a year now and was wondering how to register my self as the admin and not just a user

Do you mean you need Admin rights for your user name? Just boot to Safe Mode, select the Admin as the logon. Then go to the Control Panel, select User Accounts, select your profile and change the Account Type of your own account.
