Who uses Winamp 2
Is there any one else who still uses some version of Winamp 2, like 2.8 or something? I like it better than any newer one. It is incredibly quick to load, isnt stuck with features I don't need, simple to use, and pretty powerful for a player. Sure it cant do lots of editing stuff, but I have other programs to do that. I don't like newer Winamps, and I was wondering if anyone else felt the same and continues to use Winamp 2.

I was running 2.8 on my XP machine up until about six months ago when I started to notice distortion, this was right after fitting a SoundBlaster 5.1 audio card. I then switched to JetAudio and have been well pleased ever since. I stuck with 2.8 for so long because I felt all the newer versions of Winamp that were coming out were bloated with stuff I really didn't need.

I use a newer version. It is a 5.something, but I make sure to download the classic version so that it doesn't have all that extra junk you were talking about.
