Split a Cd
Hi All
I have downloaded a e-book, in Mp3 format, I want to put it on a Cd, I changed it to a wav file, but it is to big to fit on a cd, it is over 900 mb, and 95 minutes long. So question is how do I split it up to fit on a cd? If anyone knows of any progams or even a tutorial or web site that explans how to go about this I would appreciated it. Thanks......Jim |

Why do you need it as a wav? Those things are huge. I googled and found this, it seems to be what you need, it has good reviews. http://www.download.com/Wave-Splitte...ml?tag=lst-0-1

What program do you use to burn cds? If your using nero it has an option to edit files when you burn, that is you can cut off chunks at the beginning or end. So first cd cut off the last 30 minutes and the second cd cut off all but the last 30 minutes.

You dont need to save it as a wav, you can either make a data disk with the mp3 or a audio cd that will save it in a standard redbook format(if im not mistaking) but i dont know if that has compression, if it doesnt then it should be the same size as the wav.

Everytime I burn it to a CD-RW and put it in the player, I get no sound at all. Jim |
