Lost CD
I bought Windows XP about 2 years ago for one of my PCs. Now the thing is I want to reload windows XP on the computer but lost the CD that came for it. Since I still have the cd key for it, can I just use any windows xp cd?

I dont wanna say you can here but yes it would work if its the right disk which there are different sorts of them. Retail or OEM?
I would just call microsoft and tell them your situation and your cd key and they should point you into getting another disk. When you pay for windows xp your not paying for the disk, your paying for the key. |
