Question Want to remove site names from pictures ???? How ???

hi there,

Many pictures have the site names superimposed on them. For example, take a look at this one:

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...al/irobot1.jpg

From the above picture, i want to remove the site label - Wallpaperspecial.com.....so, pls suggest a suitable software which can do the job without any loss in picture quality or size.

You can even do that with paint. Just play with it a lil bit. cut move save it to a different file etc. I am sure you ll find a way. i remember editing a pic like that years ago with paint : )

Just cut out the Right corner big enought to cover the words. The copy it. WIth the original keep in the same spot, and with the copy just move it to the left flip/Rotate it.
I would use Photoshop

what did u exactly mean....pls give me the link for the software.....

pls don't suggest paint......as it would just cut off that part....what i wanted was editing....i.e., a software in which the text will also be shown as a frame and i can delete that frame.

I used Photoshop and did a real quick edit with the clone stamp to remove the text. But Photoshop is far from free, you could also use Paint Shop Pro which has a trial version.

Also you might try to find an older version of Jasc Paint Shop Pro at some of your local software vendors.

That can be done in virtually any editing software, from the free Paint, to the $1,200 Adobo Creative Photo Suite. Paint is primitive compared to other software, but you can do it in Paint. All "pay" software will have more features and it will be easier to accompolish.

Since you don't want to use Paint (and I wouldn't either).. what's your budget?

No wonder why this, and several other threads are not making a certain sense to me... all pics / photos are being blocked... I had to switch to IE to see what was going on. In the first post, there is NO "above picture" in FireFox 1.0.3 w/Adblock. Nor is there anybody's examples! The only thing is I don't have anything blocked...

Edit: OK, I got it fixed now...
