Windows Media Problems

I am having trouble playing video files on my laptop with either Windows Media Player or Quicktime. My laptop is a Fujitsu 133mhz Pentium 1 with MMX, and 96 megs of ram. If I try to play an mpeg file or whatever the filetype stuff is usually streamed in, the computer displays a Dos Prompt telling me that it just dumped all of my memory. The computer then resets and works fine except for trying to watch video files.

After almost an hour, the guy at fujitsu still couldn't figure out what was wrong, so I was hoping somebody here might know. Thanks.

You either have a memory fault or you are seriously short of system resources, what version of windows are you running?
