log me in.com
"logmein.com" is a site my friend told me about that lets u set up ur computer so that u can access it from any other computer by going to the website, typing in names and passwords. my worry here obviously is security--this would be a GREAT feature for me to access homework/etc in the library from home, but is it safe security wise?

Im looking through the site and it looks just like VNC but with their gateway in the middle. They have a pdf about all the security and i must say it looks pretty secure if what they say is true, much more secure than VNC. But it cant transfer files in the free version. It got some good reviews.

You can access them but you can't copy them across the net. It's a remote control service.
