Turn off Flash in Firefox?
How do I turn off Macromedia Flash Player in Firefox? I have looked all over Firefox for this option. All Macromedia Flash seems to do is generate annoying ads. I'm sorry I downloaded it in the first place...but it's needed in some websites. There must be a simple way of turning it off and on. Flash does not show up in Add/Delete programs.
Thanks

There is an extension called "FlashBlock" for Firefox. It will block Flash content until you click on it. Very useful. Get it here: http://flashblock.mozdev.org/
