Photo shop 7.0

I know this is gona be real easy and I have done it before but for some reason im not seeing it. I am making a business card and I need to import a picture into the card. I have done all the verbage and just need to put my logo into it.....see, told you it would be easy.
how do I insert a file (wether it be a photo or a pdf or what ever) into a project that im donig. Man i feel stupid.

Go to file>Import>PDF image or File Open image

tried that but it just opens another window with the file in it, what i need to do is put that pdf "inside" the existing job, like some how cut and paste it into the business card job.

Select All in the new window with the logo, copy, and then paste into the business card window.
