Recovering Word doc - URGENT
My computer shut down prior to me saving a revision of a word document.
I have found an AutoRecovery save of the document (ASD format) but cant open it into a readable word format. Can anyone please help? Thanks

What version of Word? Usually just opening Word after a crash will open up the temp file.

It's Word 2002, and when I restarted the only thing I could find was the doc as per the last save.

Just to report - have tried everything to no avail, and so have accepted that the work will have to be redone.
Thanks once again guys. |
