windows media player song languages

i have a few songs that have chinese names but when i play them in media player they just show up as symbols. any fixes for this

confusing question man,
you meant the rolling language(subtitle) at the bottom of the screen is all in strange UNICODEs right; I mean funny looking symbols, right?
Do you have Chinese language subPack installed, I mean can you see Chinese characters when visiting a Chinese WEB page( both Simple & Traditional).
If not, You just visit any and I mean any Chinese Web page and XP will ask you if you wanted to install the language subpack. This should make Media player display the proper language too.

i meant the song name at the top of the media player i did install the language subpack

I think you will need to install a new language under Regional Settings. Have your OS CD to install it.
