I had the same problem at one point. Try going to the start menu where the ATI folder is, and click on restart runtime, (it may be called something else) Hope that works.

Uninstall the whole Catalyst package and download/install the one that doesn't require .NET, without the control center, just the old control panel.

I agree with glc, I just use the old control panel. Even though what I suggested works for me, I like the old control panel better.

Correct - you can use the systray icon, or the tabs in the advanced display settings. There's no other way to get into the control panel.

NONTECHGUY, if you want to use the CCC, you need to install .net framework. You can go back to ATI.com and go the driver page where you got the latest driver. You will see a message somewhere that says "Catalyst Control Center needs .NET in order to work" and there will be a link to the site where you can download and install the .NET program. But like everyone said above, CCC is just an unnecessary bell & whistle that doesn't really do anything that the normal control panel can't. Also, an easy way to get into your display settings is to simply right click on an empty place on your desktop and choose "display properties/settings" and then "advanced".

It's possible that the .NET Framework he's running is not the most current version.
You can grab the most recent version off of MS's website in the download section, or go through windows update.
