Spybot 1.4 is out

This may or may not be old news.
Actually I am not sure how long this has been out, but not all the mirrors I checked had it.

I had not been getting updates for a while on my spybot and I found my self surfing to the mainsite and found spybot 1.4 listed.

Also, if you use Spybot, I recommend the Tea timer. it warns anytime something attempts to write to the registry. Since I have started using this feature, my scans are much much cleaner then before.

Even my wifes computer stays very clean since I started the Tea timer on hers.

EDIT it seems to scan faster then 1.3. I do have it fully updated.

Edit, I just found this was released a few days ago, on May 31.

Also, I am having some issues with the tea Timer with this one. When it comes up it is not giving me all the options and I can not accept a change if I want it. I can only deny, which is not what it is suppose to do. I may have a bad install and I will work to correct that.

Funny...when I first installed it and updated it the very first scan took only seconds. Then I updated it yesterday and now the scans take about as long as before. Weird.

I've had installation issues with it, as I indicated in the other thread. The best thing to do is this:

If you are running TeaTimer with 1.3, stop the TeaTimer and make sure it's not in your startup. Completely uninstall 1.3 and manually delete the leftover files and folders AFTER a reboot. Then download 1.4 *and* the manual includes updater. Install 1.4 and reboot. Run the manual includes updater. Then start the program and finish the updating and setup.

Thanks for the tip, Byte. I missed the thread that PR mentions (have been working 13 hour days and haven't been around much...)
