AVG and norton

I want to install AVG but don't want to get rid of Norton until the free service is over. If I download AVG will it overwrite Norton (I think I know the answer but my mom doesn't trust me unless I ask the "nerds" as she calls you guys and girls. I don't even want the Norton but no. ahem anyways......)

Norton "shouldn't" get in the way.... Couldn't you just wait till the free service is over?

cant see any reason for it to overwrite norton,,the worst case being avg or norton will have protected files that the other will pick up..

It will not overwrite, but if you have them both running it will really slow down the computer. Wait till your subscription expires.

Simple sugestion Avast antivirus the home user version is amazing now with seven main
shields to avoid viruses before they attack, vrdb generator for file recovery and best of all skinable, no nagware and best of all free and powerfull since i installed it very few viruses have attacked me.
