Music managing software
I use musicmatch right now and I don't like it so much just cause its kinda buggy. And I'm really not a fan of winamp either. Does anyone know of some good programs that will manage my music for me, allow me to rip CDs to my hd, and to burn CDs? If you do hit me back!! Peace

I don't have enough music to worry about managing it, I use CDEx for ripping/converting, and Nero for burning. I do have Musicmatch 7.5, but I only use that for playing it. I'm not the type of person who wants "swiss army knife" software, I choose what I think is best for each task I need to do.

I would agree with glc in that getting a "all-in-one' package can lead to certain compromises. I use CDex to rip, iTunes to play, and either Nero or iTunes to burn. If I had to pick the one program I would want out of those, I would chose iTunes - it does a decent job or ripping (although I think CDex is better - but then, I tend to buy most of my music online now, so I rip very few CDs), it's very good at management and playback, and burns fairly well (at slower speeds - I've noticed a few errors burning at high speeds with mp3s but not with iTunes own aac format).
