I use exact auto copy. It's can be slow depending on how you set it but it's nice and it's also free

U guys know of a good program, that will convert WAV files (realAudio) to MP3 format? Like a shareware / freeware type prog.

If they are actual WAV files, CDex can handle that chore with ease. If they are RealAudio proprietary files, you've got somewhat of a chore on your hands because RealAudio licenses their codec and most freeware/shareware programs are not going to support something they would have to pay for. |

damn, i thought maybe i would get lucky and everyone would say overwhelmingly one prog. is better than the others. oh well, looks like i will get EAC. what is the best version of this program? the site has all beta versions of the prog. should i just get the latest beta version? also, i know nothing about cd ripping, so is this the only program i need? should i just let it autoconfigure or should i manually set it up? thanks.

You should be fine just using the auto configure. If I remember right in the auto configure, you just have to tell it which drive to use, using LAME encoder to make it MP3, and if you want it to rip for quality or speed. Quality takes longer to rip but it's generally better quality than just ripping for speed.

As zyphera said, you should be fine using the auto-configure. I had found a guide awhile back on how to set it up manually so I used that, however I can't seem to track it down anymore. |
