Scan Disk Program??

Hello, i was wondering if there is a non windows scandisk program out there, i am having troubles with my windows based one. Thanks

What sort of troubles are you having? The windows based disk check utility is probably the most accurate ones within the confines of the filesystem that you are using. However, if you have a physical error on the disk, then you would benefit from using a utility that checks it. The nature of the issues you are facing would usually help determine if you are indeed having hardware issues. Generally speaking, under these circumstances, try the website of your hard drive manufacturers, they usually have diagnostic utilities.
