Lag With Fraps

I understand that using Fraps will put a load on your computer, but with the system I have I don't think that it should be dropping my fps down to 8-10 when I record. When I'm playing WoW I'll normally have about 50-60 fps and no lag at all. I emailed Fraps but haven't gotten a reply for a while now.

I'm using the specs in my sig.
