Smile Power Point 2003

Does anyone know if you can use an automatic slideshow loop in the middle of a manual persentation. Basically i want to manually display my slides for the first part, then when i get to a certain point i want some pictures to display automatically while i talk about something and then go back to manual presentation.

Can this be done?

Thanks in advance.

James

Sure thing. When you finish making the slides, go to the Slide Sorter screen. Click and Drag to highlight the slides that you want to scroll automatically. Click on "Slide Show" on the top and go to "Slide Transition". In the lower right, under "Modify Transition" change from "On mouse click" to "Automatically after X seconds". Figure out how much time you need and change X accordingly.

Then those slides will be automatic and when they are done, you can go back to clicking.

Thanks a ton for the help. Just a note for anyone else reading this, you need to adjust the Slide Show/Setup slide show to "using timing's, if present". Mine was set to manual at first and it took me a couple minutes to get it working.

Ok one more question for this show, can i make those slide run in a Loop as well? I am not the one speaking, and do not know how long she will be speaking for. If not i will just tell her to give me a close estimate and adjust the timings from there.
