Error installing Norton System Works
Trying to install Norton System Works 2005 and keep getting the error message "NORTON ANTIVIRUS 2005 DOES NOT SUPPORT REPAIR FEATURE. PLEASE REINSTALL" when starting the computer. Tied working with Symantec and their answer just confuses me more. Their e-mail suggested at least 5 different reasons, each with a web site to be downloaded. Getting them is fine but reading and understanding them is another matter. If I tried them all I would be working on this matter for weeks and Lord knows what other damage it could do to my computer. Is there a simple way of getting rid of this error. I never had this problem when using the old 2004 version; perhaps I should return to the year 2004.

System Works
Wow! What a response. Everyone wants me to go AVG an dump Norton antivirus. OK; I down loaded AVG and tried to down load the information manual on how to use it. Each time I waited and waited for Adobe to open it up. After 3-4 minutes Adobe said "done" but no manual, just a blank page. Went to their forum web site to ask why and it said I could not sign up until I loaded AVG to my computer. Very reluctant to do so until I read the manual. Anyone know how to obtain it?
Now for System Works. I have found it very helpful in cleaning up problems within the registry and the computer. Hate to lose it; any recommendations for a replacement here? |

Are you able to scroll through the adobe document? The first page is typically a title page of some sort.
Take a look at RegCleaner. |
