.NET, MSO.DLL, & Office XP

I recently had to reformat my HD and reinstall everything. I installed Office XP 2002 Pro, then VB.NET & C#.NET (both 2003). They apparently use the same MSO.DLL file, but use different versions. So I can only get one or the other working. I've tried the MSDN solutions without success. Is there another workaround possible? I tried making a MSD2.DLL and linking the .NET registry value to that but that didn't work. Is there another version of Office that would work?

Thanks,
cj
