Media battle!
I am trying to decide between Nero and Easy Media Creator.
I've heard mostly good things about Nero, but I've only ever used Roxio. The big thing for me is that I convert my CDs to MP3, and I've always used Roxio for this, with good results. Nero, it seems, will require me to purchase an encoder after 30 songs, which I don't really feel like doing. Should I just buy Roxio? Or should I buy Nero and buy the encoder? Is the advantage that prominent? Or should I buy either one and a different program for ripping CDs? Is there something better out there that I just don't know about? |

It's for a new PC, I'm stuck on Easy CD Creator from like 4 years ago. I don't know how the technology has developed. Especially since I hadn't even heard of Nero back then.
