open source ghosting Utility
Is there alternative for Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image? i've searched around the net and found ghosting utility on linux only. I'm looking for a freeware open-source program compatible with XP.

Most of the major harddrive manufacturers have a free one you can get from their website, but I think they only work with that manufacturers harddrives, I think at least one of the drives your working with has to be from that manufacturer. I bought a retail harddrive once from IBM and the HD cloning utility came in the box but would only work if one of the drives was an IBM..

i have a hardrive called seagate barracuda st340014a but in their website there's no HD cloning software. i'm assuming only IBM has this feature.
