Unknown file on desktop
Hi
From about a week ago a file has been appearing on my desktop called: logs. The thing is i havent created this file and i dont know what is, everytime i delete it it reappears a few minutes later. The contents of this file are: cpu.log(text file) then inside that: 7/19 18:07:41.312 vendor: 1 7/19 18:07:41.312 features: 00000017 7/19 18:07:41.312 sockets: 1 7/19 18:07:41.312 cores: 1 7/19 18:07:41.312 processors: 2 7/19 18:07:41.312 chip = GenuineIntel 7/19 18:07:41.312 standard (2): 1b=00020809 1d=bfebfbff 4a=00000000 7/19 18:07:41.312 extended (4): 1c=00000000 1d=00000000 4a=20342029 8c=00000000 This is the path:C:\Documents and Settings\my name\Desktop\Logs\cpu.log I also run updated Spybot, Adaware and Antivir every few days and have not had any problems with spyware or viruses for a long time so its got me stumped. So if anyone can give me any insight as to whats going on it would be great i have also included a screenshot of the actual file on my desktop, much thx in advance. Jonro.
