Itunes ?
Alrighty, I used Itunes on another computer for my Ipod. Now, I am putting my Ipod and Itunes on my new PC. I want all the songs I had on the old comp to be on my new one. How do I do this? I can't figure it out. All the songs on my old library are currently on my Ipod....is there a way to take the songs off my Ipod and put in on the library??

yes its actually very easy to transfer your songs to your new computer, all you need is a program calle ephpod it can be found here: http://www.ephpod.com/ the program is free and very easy to use. I havent used the new versions but when i used it for the same problem it was very easy just one click copy. good luck!

let me download the new version and see how to work it. hold on...
just a few pointers: you have to save the songs to your computer first, then tell itunes what folder the songs are in. maybe that is what you were having trouble with. im downloading the program right now. then i will get back to you. Last edited by jord533; 07-20-2005 at 07:52 PM. |

why not just copy the itunes music folder over the network to the new computer then use the add to itunes library menu option.

that would work but if he is anything like me with my music all over the place that can be hard to do...ephpod used to be very easy to use i dont know what happend to it...maybe oldversion.com might be usefull. it was literally a one click process. very easy.
i just need to hook up my ipod and see what needs to be done. well the older version is not on oldversion.com so it looks like im gonna have to see what i can do with this one. Last edited by jord533; 07-20-2005 at 08:59 PM. |

OK, i thing I did the network thing. I consolidated my library onto my Ipod and copied the folder onto my hard drive but still cannot import any music from the file onto my Itunes. I think Itunes is causing my PC to freeze. My computer has frozen twice both times while playing music on Itunes.
