Question Back-up

Can anyone give me an idea of how exactly I back-up everything on my PC.

I have several external hard-drives with folders that synchronise with My Documents and My Music. What else should I make a point of backing-up and how do I do it?

I know how to make back-up copies of the registry and also how to make a system restor point but I wouldn't know when to use them, nor what information they store. Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks folks

LL

Hi the best way probably, is to use a program like noton ghost wich makes an exact image of ur system, you can then restore from a cd or a diffrent partition.

Have a look at this article on Microsoft.com, this article assumes that the user is running XP. However the principles are generally the same for whatever OS your using.
