rdriv.sys , Delete it or not? AVG Problem
I have AVG and I have been getting some stupid "Virus Detected" alert every time I enter my PC.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...4/basoiudj.jpg That's what I get. If I click "Heal", the same window with the same info appears right after, same happens if I click "Delete File". I thought about deleting the file(rdriv.sys) from the harddrive, please give me your opinion about this, if I shouldn't delete it, what should I do? Last edited by glc; 07-24-2005 at 01:24 PM. You need to do malware scans in safe mode, you have more problems than just a generic trojan. AVG may be able to handle it by itself, but I'd throw everything you have at it.

No, you HAVE malware. Malware is viruses, trojans, and spyware. You need to scan FOR malware with antivirus, antitrojan, and antispyware applications. AVG is an antivirus and can find a lot of trojans. Microsoft Antispy is an antispyware application.
