Outlook Synchronizing
Hi all,
I'm working on developing a new email strategy for myself and have some questions regarding Microsoft Outlook. Say I have 3 devices, a laptop, a PDA, and a Desktop, all running Microsoft Outlook. Is there way to sync all 3 with each other so that my mail and tasks are identical on all of them? I know it's quite easy to do with just one pc and a pda, but what happens when you have a total of 2 pc's? Also, do different versions of Outlook work with each other for synching (e.e.g. a 2002 and a 2003 version)? Thanks in advance for the help. |

Anyone? I thought that were more people on this forum using Outlook. Any help at all is appreciated. TIA.

Pretty sure you can only do it the old fashion way. If you use the "leave mail on server" option, both pc's will receive all mail. Anytime you send mail, CC yourself so the other pc receives a copy. Not sure what you can do about tasks..
Only other option is to export/import from time to time..

Thanks for the reply. Yep, or IMAP may be the way to go as well. The only other option I have is setting up an Exchange server, however, that would require one extra PC.
