Academic Software at Newegg?

Has anyone bought academic software at Newegg before? I know how it works at places like journeyed.com where you just fax them a copy of your school ID and a dated class schedule if your ID isn't dated, but does anyone know how varification works at Newegg? I'd much rather deal with them since I have ordered there before and know they will get my order to me quickly. I can't seem to find any info on how they handle academic software on their site. I shot an e-mail off to them a few days ago, but haven't seen a reply yet. Any info or exprences would help.

Just ordered some for a customer. Used her student ID # and College name at check out and it went right through. This is about the 5th time I've purchased for students or teachers with their ID info. Works good every time.

So it's the student ID that they want, not the school ID? There's a little ambiguity there. Thanks again.
