What is your mix of software for your PC?

Alright, I love having the best and latest software on my computer (who doesn't like being on the cutting edge if it's possible) and I am always trying to find out what program is the best for doing what.

I am simply a novice at best compared to the posters here. What are your favorite software programs of choice to handle everything your PC needs? I'm sure we all are missing something that could add to our productivity, make us safer on the internet, and even save us a few bucks too.

Here's what I have on my Laptop running XP Home Edition at the moment:

PRODUCTIVITY SOFTWARE

Business-School Productivity: Microsoft Office 2003 Professional (Outlook 2003 for E-mail), Microsoft OneNote 2003, Microsoft Frontpage 2003, and Adobe Creative Suite Premium 2

Personal Finance: Quicken 2006 Premier Home & Business (getting it as soon as it is released from Amazon)

RSS Reader: Mozilla Thunderbird

CD/DVD Burning and Music Management: Nero 6.6 Ultra Edition and iTunes 4.9

Instant Messaging: gaim (AIM Clone), ICQ 5, and MSN Messenger 7.0

IRC Client: mIRC

SECURITY SOFTWARE

Spyware-Adaware Fighters: Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta,
Lavasoft Ad-Aware Personal Edition, Spybot: Search & Destroy, SpywareGuard, and SpywareBlaster

Antivirus-Firewall: Trend Micro PC-cillin 2005 Internet Security

UTILITY SOFTWARE

Registry Cleaners: TweakNow RegCleaner (free version, not Professional shareware)

Defragmenter: PerfectDisk 7.0 and Diskeeper Pro (both freeware trial versions atm, not full versions)

So what are your programs of choice?
What else can make the ideal setup for the safest and fastest PC possible? Post your favorites!

I have almost everything listed here installed, and then some, a list which would be at least a page long if I gave each one its own line.

My Favorite Programs
1. iTunes
2. Adobe Photoshop CS
3. Sony Vegas 6.0

My Favorite Protection Programs
1. Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security
2. eTrust PestPatrol
3. Spybot - Search & Destroy

My Favorite DVD Backup Programs
1. DVD Decypter (No Longer Being Developed )
2. DVD Shrink
3. PSP Video 9 (This is a great way of sticking my movie collection on to my Sony PSP using a 1 gig memory stick. The Movie Industry probably doesn't see it this way, but I think & feel it is because in my book it falls under the Fair Use in the DRM Act . The only time I'll be using this is when I'm going to Florida to visit my parents and watching a movie on the airplane and besides I rather watch my movies on my big screen TV than a 3 inch screen when I'm not 30,000 or so feet up. Sorry about going off topic. )
4. Nero

My Favorite Games, well actually I just have one game on my computer and that is Tiger Woods 2005 golf game.

Misc
1. Desktop Weather Platinum (Weather Program from the Weather Channel)
2. Webshots (Nice Desktop Backgrounds)
3. Diskeeper (A Good Defragger Program)
4. System Mechanic (I like this better than Norton)

All my programs are legal and I don't copy (or download) any movies or music for they too are also all legal.

Let's keep the games out of the list though -- and just stick with productivity, utilities, and security applications. Starcraft, although a great game, isn't necessarily cutting edge!
