Looking for a program...

Hi all,

I am looking for a program that will allow me to drag and drop files to my dvd burner and have them burn to a dvd-rw just like a hard drive.

I take a lot of digital pictures and I would like to back them up on a disk every time I download off my camera. I worry about a hard drive crash and losing all my pictures of my kids and vacations and the sort. This stuff is irreplaceable.

I know old versions of ez cd creator used to have a program called 'Direct Cd' bundled with it. It would allow you to write to a disk and then continually add to it. I use Nero 6, and really like it.

If anyone knows of such a program, I would really appreciate a recommendation. Or perhaps someone knows how to do this with nero?

I am using windows xp pro, nero 6 with a lite-on dvdrw sohw-1213s.

Thanks.

The Nero software packaged with the DVD burners includes In CD that is a drag and drop software. Don't know if it will work with a DVD but I know it does with a CD.

Yep, Nero 6 will do DVDs / CDs just like a hard drive (but, of course, opticals are slower).

Thanks for the replies, I will give In-cd a try. I didn't even know it was there!
