I just bought a new E-machine with XP Home on it for a friend. The problem is when she recieves e-mail attachments she can't open the attachments.
She gets an error message saying to make an association to it, or something like that ( haven't actually seen the error message) . Anyone have any Ideas?

there is a security feature in Outlook express that restricts the opening of attachments. Go into the options menu and look for a security tab, you can disable it there. That might solve your problem.

Sounds more like there's no software installed that's capable of opening the attachment. If it's a Word document, for example, Word has to be installed, if it's an Adobe PDF, Adobe Reader has to be installed.
