Acrobat 5.0 Problem

Hey,

Not sure if this is the right forum to post such a question in, so please move it if it isn't.

I have Adobe Acrobat 5.0 installed on my XP Pro machine and it was working fine till a few days ago.

When I try and print a word document using PDFWriter it displays an error saying that the file wasnt transferred to the printer.

Distiller works fine, just not as convenient.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, no good. I followed the instructions on the Adobe website for a manual unistall, still didn't work.

If I click on the convert document to PDF button that appears in word, the file will print correctly using PDFWriter but it saves my doc file first (which I don't always want) and when I close word after, it says an error occured and that word has to be restarted.

Any ideas on what could be causing the problem and how I can fix it?
